Svarte was formed somewhere in 1998 by Lord Valke (Sherif Zaki), Lord Fog (Nader) and Shadowlord (Mahmoud Yakoot) who met in the sort of pub, where they used to hang out.

 

 

Svarte is an underground black metal project from the town of Alexandria, Egypt, They create dark atmospheric soundscapes inspired by the writings of J. R. R. Tolkien. Current members are Lord Valke (Sherif Zaki) .

 

the band stopped for many years during alot of complications they faced and the band was put on hold for a while .

 

the band released 3 official demos through out  the 15 years since the band formed ,

now valke is settled in Istanbul-Turkey and he gather all his energies and focusing to write a new material for full release album to svarte .
